JEAN-PIERRE (JP) CLEMENT

JP Clement is an Executive Pharmacovigilance Expert for the pharmaceutical industry and the Founder of the JPCC Associates group. He has worked over the last 28 years in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance in multiple capacities, mostly with global responsibilities, helping to build or improve pharmacovigilance organizations in order to meet the highest standards.
JP Clement has worked for several biotech and large companies such as Janssen, Merck KGa, Abbott, Sanofi, Onyx and Cubist.
He has a track record of implementing highly efficient PV groups and activities, with high strategic output and compliance levels. He has also helped organizations successfully manage critical hurdles such as PV inspections, supporting market approval, extending global PV footprint or manage safety crises.
He has been part of the Annual DIA Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Strategies for several years, both as a member and in a chairmanship role in 2013 and 2014. He is a regular guest speaker for a number of pharmacovigilance international seminars.
In his practice, he has helped multiple pharmaceutical companies to establish highly compliant and efficient PV organizations, elevating PV contributions to a strategic level.
JP Clement graduated in Family Medicine from Pierre and Marie Curie Medical University, Paris, France. He studied Pharmacology at Medical Universities in Paris and Lyon, France. JP Clement worked in clinical practice for 8 years before joining the pharmaceutical industry.
